Good Magazine

Project Overview:
Analyze and breakdown the information in the article provided to you. Design an information graphic that supports the article, in addition to designing a four page editorial layout incorporating said graphic and text from the article. Explore compositional variety while retaining clear thematic relationships.

Design Concept:
I designed an editorial spread based on an article I read about the dangers of plastic bags, and whether we should tax, ban or just discourage them. To engage the viewer and provide the information in an easy to understand format, I created multiple infographics that explained facts and data from the article.

For the cover page introducing the article, I created a repetition of THANK YOU's, similar to what you would see on a plastic bag from any regular store, but also included a "NO THANK YOU" in all red in the middle to communicate the article's stance on eliminating the use of plastic bags.
